McCook Point Park and Beach is open year-round from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and beach passes are required for access which can be purchased at Parks & Recreation Office, 41 Society Road, Niantic, 06357.
The beautiful, gently sloping, soft sandy beach, picnic areas, train watching, diverse trail systems and salt marsh viewing platforms make this park ideal for families. Try crabbing or fishing. Look for ospreys, cranes, and herons or other waterfowl. Rocky Neck provides something for everyone.

“Small, but has a ton of character! Cute beach with a raft anchored about 100 ft out. The park has incredible views from the hill. A good walk to the Hole in the Wall beach and cafes.”
